Disability Services serves as Thomas University’s entry-point into advocacy for all students with disabilities and provide students with tools enabling them to succeed in both online and classroom classes.

Through collaboration with individualstudents and faculty we will develop strategies to enhance their courses in order to provide better accessibility for all students.  It also supports students by providing individual accommodations and seeking creative ways to enhance learning and success.

Disability Services maintains a student outreach page in all students’ Canvas dashboards called ADA Connect that provides information on accommodations, diagnosis, and accessible technology, and announces Disability Awareness disability awareness activities, programming, and speakers, as well as links to contact, make an appointment with, or request accommodations from Disability Services.

Thomas University provides three free and confidential counseling services to its students; an on-campus counseling center, a Student Assistance Program offered through Archbold Hospital, and Flexcare Behavioral Health.

Student Counseling Center

The student counseling center’s main office is located in the Campus Center.  We are here to provide all TU students with a confidential space to discuss whatever is on their minds.

The Student Counseling Center also sponsors a “relaxation” space in room 103 in the Library/Rust Science building.  Students are welcome to use this space to relax and enjoy the food and snacks that can be found there most days.

Appointments can be made confidentially via Calendly
