The student counseling center’s main office is located in the Campus Center (Hawk’s Nest) across from the Spirit Shop.  We are here to provide both campus based and on-line students a confidential space to discuss whatever is on their minds. 

The challenges of attending college in the 21st century can be a demanding, difficult road to navigate.  Juggling the demands of studies, athletics, family, work, military service, just one of those challenges by themselves can be daunting.  Combine two or more, and it is understandable how and why the stress can begin to overwhelm. 

The counseling center offers free, individual meeting opportunities for all Thomas University students.  Services will be available in our campus center offices, and via telehealth services in the comfort of your own space.  Sometimes all a person needs is an objective point of view to help them navigate the challenges of life in the 21st century.

The Student Counseling Center also sponsors a “relaxation” space in room 103 in the Library/Rust Science building.  Students are welcome to use this space to relax and eat the food and snacks that can be found there most days. 

The counseling center is led by Dan Salveter, LCSW, and a staff of Master’s level interns who will provide services.  If you prefer to be off campus, we have other connections which can be accessed by Thomas University students.
